    divide both the numerator and denominator by cos^4 @ the cos' will cancel and sins will turn into tans if u get sec then u can use 1+tan^2 = sec^2 btw there is no "i" in there cause ur equating complex parts

    does this sound reasonable: according to namu, cutoff will be mid 50s, lets assume 54... according to lazaurus, the distribution of marks is linear within each band if 54 raw = 90 HSC and 84 raw = 100 HSC then every 3 raw marks = 1 HSC mark? 54:90 57:91 60:92 ... 75:97 78:98...

    Question 1e... What did you do?

    factorise x^2 out of the square root to get: 1/(x^3 * sqrt(1/x^2 + 1)) then let u = 1/x^2 so the 1/x^3 will cancel OR x = tan@ and u should end up with cos@/sin^2@ i think
