What are the colours of the balmer series
I though that the Balmer series was the spectrum of visible light part of the EM Spectrum and, as such, there is an infinite array of colours present? But, I'm reasonably sure that the HSC exam won't have a question asking us to play with coloured pencils. To answer a question like...- Nicend

The balmer series is the visible light spectrum best seen through a spectroscope. It shows the emitted visible light spectrum from when an electron jumps from a higher orbital to a lower orbital (visible is a drop the the second orbital) (Hm, that didn't help much) Well, sorry I couldn't...- Nicend
