Mm I'm just wondering about the scope of my atar from these marks, btw school i go to is top 50
Advanced English: Marks: 34/55 Rank: 66/120 [First is on 52] [About 4 marks away from rank 30]
Chemistry: Marks: 59.75/65 Rank: 3/70 [First is on 60.25]
Biology: Marks: 42/65 Rank: 7/19 [1st is on...
Great Job with the current ranks, Congratulations are in order. Just a reminder to keep them up and you can expect over 90s let alone 70. HSC is only 1/6 done for most people so continue working hard and smart. Good Luck
Prove by induction
n! <= ((n+1)/2)^n
Show whole proof with the last step (the words)
I just want to see different approaches to this question as well as their wording at the end. (Hopefully someone can approach this by solving equal to zero cause I don't get that approach)
haha well i gotta agree with you there.. its the least interesting of my subjects but still its easy so thats the good thing about it.. hopefully it stays easy and not just suddenly go really hard.. otherwise im screwed. Bio is gonna be soo much fun though XD
this is because you don't know whether (x-1) is a positive or negative number, but whenever you square something you will always get a positive number even if pronumerals are involved. Also, because you don't know if its positive or negative you don't know whether you should change the sign or...
hmm yea eco and bio along with mx2 is gonna be tough to handle with all the content and concepts, but I'll be keeping all my subjects mainly coz i find them interesting..
Re: cbf
First day: got hit with a massive fail sign. Twice. Ok... now time for hsc, like fuck..=.= Feel like shit atm, i got DE-motivated, time to flow for a while..
No. Just No. Do not drop down to standard. It's HARDER to get a BETTER mark. Seeing as your getting 70+, it's not as bad as you think, just practice and revise your essays more.
didnt know those counted.. and ye those comps are soo random just cbb them especially the maths one.. darn that wespac.. i guessed like 2/3 of the test
Just interested in what other extra-curriculum activities the rest of BOS does, for me at the moment it's just:
Duke of Ed
Peer Support Leader
Camp Committee
Na, it's still 99.95 ATAR, remember that since there is no 100 UAI, more people get the 99.95. So about 30-40 people will get the ATAR. However in the past with the UAI system they offered 35 Places and I heard that they're not going to change that.
We watched movies throughout the whole term after SC, but only movies relating to the subject. Science; only sci-fi movies etc. Maths we just bludged, played cards or just talked. Ahh Term 4 Year 10.. good times..
Re: What UAI&Course are you aiming for?
ATAR: 99.95 for Med/Arts at USYD
but thats a lil far fetched.. to get top 40 in the state so..
ATAR:95+,UMAT+Interview for Med/Arts at UNSW
if i don't get anything that i want, i'll just go for graduate then
Why not do both? I only count 10 Units from you unless you also want to do Extension Jap. If you must have 10 units then just do which ever you need more. Theres always bridging courses for assumed knowledge.
Yeah.. Bio is my fav, i guess coz its easier than chem, not sure about physics though coz i dont do it. But i guess it really depends on peoples preferences. The reason I don't like Chem as much as Bio is coz of those calcuations you gotta do. While bio is in itself a very interesting subject.
