    Help with Deciding.

It is very hard to go well in Standard, because the classes are usually unfocused and undedicated, you often don't get a great teacher and the texts themselves are much less interesting. Pretty much, how can you motivate yourself to go well in a standard class if it's a bad learning...

    Very Sad !!

Shazbaz - if you want to go well you still can if you really try. Talk to your teachers! Ask them what you need to learn to catch up. Like Nadiaa said, you just really need to focus. You probably now know the shitty feeling of getting crap marks- so make sure you learn all the material...

yeah, I agree. I grew up with Charmed and Buffy too. Personally, Buffy is my favourite - and I fully recommend watching all of Joss Whedon's other work including Angel (Buffy spinoff), Firefly, Dollhouse and Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog :D Joss Whedon is simply genius!

    Good anime [pref in english]

Fullmetal Alchemist is amazing. I had never watched anime before and my friends showed me FMA, and I really liked it (still do.) It has great characters, a really engaging and intense plot and heaps of twists. Watch it!

    Future Plans (UAI/Uni/Tafe/Job)

Re: What ATAR are you aiming for and realistically, what do you think you will get? Aiming for 90 ... but that's in an ideal world - anything above 80 or 85 would be fine. Still got my eye on that pretty 90+ though :D

    Scared of stuffing up

Of course! Trust me, you definitely are not the only one. Try to turn that fear into motivation, to prevent yourself from stuffing up, rather than letting it become debilitating. You can do it!:jump:

How to do well in English?

Really use your teachers - they are there to help you. Write practice essays and creative writing pieces, hand it in to your teacher and ask for feedback. From doing this you'll learn how to improve, you'll form a good relationship with your teacher, not to mention improved marks!:hat...
