    Failed MATH1081

It is still possible to get a 75-80 WAM even with one fail, right? Since all my computing related subjects I plan on doing extremely well in (and anything non related). So I'm sure this fail is simply a hurdle.

    Failed MATH1081

Yeah that's obvious that it'll be negatively affected, but it'll be extremely minimal. Whether I got 50 or 40, the affect is still negative compared to the marks of my other courses. And yes, I do pay again, but it's covered by HECS.

    Failed MATH1081

Doesn't a 3rd year course outweigh a first year? And HECS covers a course two or three times (from what I read), not only one.

    Failed MATH1081

Yeah, overloading will be quite easy, I don't mind lol.
  5. Demise

    Failed MATH1081

It's not a prereq, so it's not stopping anything. I'm just going to repeat it next year where I'm more mature about studies (and actually attend lectures).

    Failed MATH1081

So what does that mean? My supp mark is 43, I'm aware I have to repeat, but is there anything else that will happen?

    questions about prerequisites

Then just do math1041, that's considerably much easier than 1131 and 1231/1241, and it sounds like you're falling behind. So to make it easier on yourself, just do 1041.

Which subjects are you required to pass the final exam?

I am aiming to pass all my assessments, but it's just in case I don't pass, haha.

Which subjects are you required to pass the final exam?

Can someone tell me if you need to pass the final exams for: MATH1081 MATH1131 To pass the course in the end? What if you have an overall pass but failed the final exam?

    Camps

Yeah, I prefer sitting in the middle and back 100%. Other than that, I've made a ton of friends in COMP1917 that are social.

Is it too late to pick up a double degree?

I've heard their cutoffs are exaggerated, hence why some friends got in engineering with 80s.

Is it too late to pick up a double degree?

I'm currently studying comp sci, but I'm curious if I can pick up commerce as a double degree with it. I got an atar of 91.35, but also have 4 extra points from HSCPlus and accepted EAS points, so I'll easily pass the ATAR requirement. Is it too late though?

    Online Lectures - MATH1081 / MATH1131

Does anyone have any idea if these lectures are online? If not, is there a massive disadvantage if I miss one lecture - I have one lone lecture on Tuesday at 5, and I find it pointless to go just for one hour.

    ELISE- Study Skills Tutorial

2 Questions - Status and HECS

How can I change my payment option since I chose upfront pay when enrolling (I never had my TFN), I now have my TFN and want to apply for HECS. Also, it says my program status is "matriculation", is that normal?

    Exam Timetable

Well, I'm planning on leaving for a holiday at the end of June (around the 29th) but exams finish on the 1st of July, is there anyway to find out the exam timetable for my subjects so I know whether to book or not?

    Trouble with enrolling in ENGG1000

Anyway, I tried enrolling into ENGG1000 again after being in it before and I can't now, wtf.

    Trouble with enrolling in ENGG1000

That's a rip lol. I pay $60/mo for my gym and even if I went 8 times/mo that's still much cheaper (Around $7.50).

    Bridging course....worth it?

This is so confusing, so a bridging course is pretty much irrelevant, instead we can teach ourselves the content with a 3U/4U textbook?
