What parts of MATH1131 are needed for MATH1231?

I didn't do that well in 1131 :/ What topics do you guys think I should study/not study at all for MATH1231 next sem? (I hate matrices. Their applications are cool, so I'm trying to use that as motivation)

Up and coming scientific fields in Australia and worldwide?

I want to choose a degree that not only lies in my interests, but can lead to a high paying, enjoyable job (yes you've heard this before). I don't mind anything chem/bio related, which is why I asked my question. I've heard great things about biotechnology, and environmental science etc...

Sorry to hear about your dad, haya. The fact that you got the ATAR you did is amazing, because in your situation I would have simply fallen apart and given up.
