    Really need your advice

It sounds like it was a difficult test which means that you not passing doesn't really matter. Your moderated assessment mark is only based on rank and the gaps between each rank, even if you did fail as long as you can stay near the top it won't matter. Also this is just one assessment and you...

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Equilibrium expression and constant question I was under the impression that the question came from the 'acidic environment' module and I just used the theory from 'AE' to answer the question. I'm not yet up to Inductrial Chem to answer your question.

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Equilibrium expression and constant question You have your equilibrium reaction: H2 + CO2 <--> H2O + CO You only start the one mole of H2 and the one mole of CO2, so it takes a while for the system to reach equilibrium. Since we only start with one mole of H2, then Moles of H2 + moles of...

    Organisation help

In my experience the best way of working your folders in is to have one folder that has all of your subjects which you bring to and from school along with several folders at home (one for each subject), at the end of term you dump your subjects notes into their proper folders.

    Chemistry Questions

Re: EMF help Q25 iii. I get the same answer as you, -2.24 V. The answers might be wrong in this case. Q25 iv. Half reactions are: 2Br- ---> Br^2+ + 2e- -1.09V Al^3+ + 3e- ---> Al -1.66 V Total: -2.75 V. Q23. ii. It's important to note that we treat the hydrogen electrode as if it...

    Connections with the larger world

Definitely not, ignore the starcraft example. Just think of ways that people can belong in ways that are common around the world. I might feel comfort and belonging knowing that their are people around the world with similar ideals and past times. I might belong to a worldwide community of...

    Connections with the larger world

Belonging with the wider world, for example if I were religious I could find a sense of community across the world with people that were of the same religion. Or maybe I enjoy playing/watching lots of starcraft and I can achieve a sense of belonging knowing that there are lots of people all...

    Rocket acceleration and g force

    a) its initial acceleration is dependent on its initial mass, thrust and force of gravity. First we should work out how much weight it has (force of gravity) F=ma F= 0.0873 x 9.8 F= 0.86 N downwards total force = 6.1 - 0.86 = 5.24 N What we've done is just made our gravity and thrust into...

Please help! Band 6 related texts for Emily Dickinson

Your related text is only relevant to Paper 1 section C. In that section you should be writing about 1000 words and 40% of that should be dedicated to your related text i.e. 400 words of analysis. Unless 'white teeth' is written in the style of finnegans wake then 400 words should be very...

    HSC Physics Textbook Suggestions?

My school uses the in2physics textbook but I managed to find the 'physics in focus' textbook second hand. In2physics has great explanations but its questions either don't exist or are completely irrelevant to the syllabus. If I was studying physics in my spare time for fun this would be the...

    Music while studying

I'm sure this topic has come up countless of times, but I'll try to shake it up and be brief. No doubt most of us here want to know the best way to study and of course you've heard stories about people bringing in familiar perfumes into an exam room. Here's a way that is proven to assist in...

    Help with enthalpy question!

    1. 50 mL of 1.0mol/L solution is the equivalent of 0.05 mol 0.05 mol H reacts with 0.05 mol OH ---> 0.05 mol H2O + ΔH-2.8kJ The reason it's a negative is energy is taken AWAY from the bonds to produce heat. Because the above reaction is in terms of 0.05 mol and enthalpy change is measured in...

any good related texts for romulus, my father?

Kafka on the Shore is good. If you read it I can PM you my quote list/scaffold. But how similar the text is to RMF shouldn't matter. If you find similarities you say 'therefore this theme is universal to finding a sense of belonging' if you find differences you say 'this shows that there are a...

    Please help! Projectile motion

For Q2. we have to split the vector into vertical and horizontal components. Our vertical vector = sin30 x 145 = 72.5 Our horizontal vector = cos 30 x 145 = 125.57 for a. we only consider our vertical component, remember that when a ball reaches its maximum height its vertical velocity is...

    Please help! Projectile motion

In general you have to be familiar with your SUVAT equations and know that horizontal component is ucos(theta) and vertical component is usin(theta) For Q1 a. We only have to consider the vertical component, it starts at a height of 100 m and accelerates downwards at 9.8m/s^2 Writing down our...

    Escape Velocity Question!!!

Second one. Escape velocity means the object has escaped the planets orbit entirely. Be careful not to say it has escaped the gravitational field as gravitational fields have an infinite distance. Escape velocity was originally devised by Newton as a thought experiment were a cannonball was...

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive For Sy's question about the neutral water with a pH of 6 The equilibrium reaction is H3O+ + OH- <--> 2H20 Is it possible that the conditions are favouring the backward reaction and so you get a solution which has more Hydronium (and conversely more...
