How likely is it for me to get a double exam day in hsc ?

Here is the timetable for this year so that you can get an idea: https://studentsonline.bostes.nsw.edu.au/go/exams/hsc_2016_exam_timetable/ But the better approach would be to try to find a way to mange your anxiety.

If You Could Redo the HSC

Study slow and steady... I crammed a lot - which wasn't helpful. And not stress too much because I found an alternate way to get into what I wanted to study. I was devastated when I didn't get in first time round

    Someone help please !!!!!!

I'd agree with the above comment and had exactly the same experience. Changing the way you look at the subject could make all the difference. It's hard to do though sometime... Aside from what was said above - also keep in mind that even if you could change schools - you might not respond well...

How to study right for hsc ?

oh... one other thing. Try your best - but if you end up not getting the mark you need, you should definitely look into other ways of getting into your degree. I got an ATAR of 80 and needed 97 for the course I'm in. I enrolled in another degree and reapplied later. In our case, the second...

How to study right for hsc ?

There is a bit in particular that is relevant to what you are saying I think... they were saying that reading may not be the best way... as you say, you might memorise bits. But you may not get the best out of it in terms of learning meaning and understanding how the content might relate to...

    Proposed Study Method

I don't think there is any one best way to do it.. a combination of approaches works best for me. I guess it also depends on your learning style a lot. I use flash cards for the snappy things I need to memorise. And for the broader concepts ... trying to explain the concepts to others seems to...

    Disadvantaged school application

My understanding is that you apply once through the EAS via UAC and that gets considered by all universities. But each university also has their own offerings and this can be different from one subject area to the next. I'd contact the university directly to make sure you are considering...

    Bonus points for disadvantaged school

There are a couple of different schemes you could apply for. They have a page with more info and a calculator: https://www.futurestudents.unsw.edu.au/bonus-points-0 You can also get bonus points for being a high level athlete... and a few other things I think.

    Doing a second undergrad degree?

It depends what you are studying. I applied for Design (Visual Communication) as my second degree. Entry was via a personal statement, portfolio and an interview. My ATAR was way below the entry mark. I'd recommend calling up the faculty that you are thinking of applying to and having a chat...

    studying pattern

Set aside a specific time in the day for studying. This should be separate from just doing your homework. Make it a routine part of your day. Setting aside 30 minutes of study time a day will go a long way in helping you prepare for exams.

    too late?

I agree - there is no one way to study hard and you can risk burning out. I'd think about what I need to improve and different strategies rather than just studying 2 hours a day for the sake of it. I found this page had some good study tips...
