    Could u do P(X)=(x-2)(x+2)(x+a)(x+b) Sub is P(0) and P(1) to get two simultaneous equations to find the values for a and b Not sure if it will work though

    I undertsand max and min. I just don't get why we are using it when it is asking for the closest point to the origin. Without seeing the graph, the time when v=0, doesn't mean that it is the closest to the origin. Are we using minimum because of what the graph looks like?
