For Q27a why do they discuss other features that are not related to temperature and chemical composition. Talking about density and translational and rotational velocities seems to not answer the question.
  2. G

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Well I think radius and surface area are analogous to each other so ig if they accept one they will accept the other. Let's hope they do 🙏

Do you think I would get marks if I said that the two variables that impact luminosity are mass and surface area instead of mentioning temperature?

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

I messed up the 7 marker because I forgot it would also experience projectile motion like a dumbass and I also messed up the 2nd last 4 marker.

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Gluons mediate the strong force. Photons mediate the electromagnetic force. EM waves interact through the electromagnetic force because they are themselves oscillating electric and magnetic fields perpendiclar to each other.

If they ask something about the big bang and hubble's discoveries imma close the paper and leave.

∆E=-(6.67x10^-11x1000x6.0x10^23)/(2x42000x10^3)-(-6.67x10^-11x1000x6x10^24)/(2x6800x10^3) =the answer in A cant be bothered seeing what it was

    BOTHHH. ∆E=1/2Uf-1/2Ui =-GMm/2rf - (-GMm/2ri)

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

The initial value of r would be 6800km and the final value of r would be 42000km, you jusy multiply the denominator of the expression for U by 2 as the total energy of the satellite is given by E=1/2(U). Make sure to convert the values of r to meters
  10. G

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Using Ufinal-Uinital in this question would give you B instead of A.
  11. G

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

This question is an example of using the total energy change (1/2 U) to find the amount of enegry needed to move a satellite to a higher orbit.

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

I don't think the formula is given in the formula sheet but it's the E=-GMm/2r formula for total energy. Just find the initial value of E using the initial orbital radius given and subtract it from the final value of E using the new orbital radius given.

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Total energy way I think cause GPE way just tells you how much GPE it gained and doesn't account for the net decrease in kinetic energy of the satellite too.

Would we need to be able to explain the Zeeman effect if we had to state limitations of Bohr's model?
  15. G

    Chemistry Predictions/Thoughts

    Nah I reckon 98 maybe. 🤔

    Chemistry Predictions/Thoughts

Part (a) was finding Ka of dichloroacetic acid and part (b) was using gibbs energy and Ka values to explain the difference in strength of the acids
  17. G

    Chemistry Predictions/Thoughts

Yeah I got 0.046 and got like 1.3x10^4
  18. G

    Chemistry Predictions/Thoughts

It was the acetic acid and trichloroacetic acid question
  19. G

    Chemistry Predictions/Thoughts

Ohhhhh. I don't remember which letter I chose but it was the one where the + was on the first ion because that was what was detected
  20. G

    Chemistry Predictions/Thoughts

Dissociates into NH4+ which donates proton to water and there is B-L acid.
