    So from 2019, it was a "to what extent" and personal understanding question about aspiration and acceptance. A student band 6 sample from NESA did use "my understanding" repeatedly, so while i do agree it seems colloquial, they must accept it due to the nature of the question.

    memorising is kinda crazy and like you said is pretty useless Best thing to do is have like a "blanket statement" for your intros, which addresses general core aspects of the rubric e.g. common mod -> human experiences, ModA -> literary conversation of original and adaptation, ModB ->...

    For worlds of upheaval I'm thinking it'll likely be something specific, probably addressing some aspect of "individuals and communities seeking unity, certainty, solace, justice or restoration in periods of significant social and political change and upheaval.", as this hasn't been asked yet...
