    99.55 uai, math/french tutor, strathfield

LOL! I can't speak from a tuition student's perspective but Roadrage is an extremely helpful and intelligent guy, especially in maths. He love his tangents! ;)

    The Cricket Thread

re: The Official Cricket Thread Bracken is good in ODI's and T20's because he varies his speed well, bowls good yorkers and cutters. He probably won't be as effective in Tests. But having said that, I would still pick him since he can swing the ball.

Is transfering like wasting a year?

Actually I think aeronautical includes planes as well as rockets. So maybe you can get a job in a Boeing or Airbus construction factory except they're probably only in America, Europe or China too. Still = unemployment in Australia.

Is transfering like wasting a year?

Unless you move to America and work for NASA lol.

Anyone interested in practising law in a country town?

Lol this reminds me of the vaguely similar scheme they have for the new medicine graduates although I don't know the nitty-gritty of either of these schemes.

    credit transfer?!?

Thanks you too. I didn't get an additional credit application form on enrolment day. I hope the online one is good enough. I'm going to the uni today to hand everything in (I printed the online email).

    Australian Open

The prize money should be valued on how good the players are. For this year, I have no problem with Serena winning the amount she does because she is so strong and could possibly play 5 sets too. But Safina was pathetic, a real let down. I'm pretty sure whoever loses tonight in the men's final...

    Favourite Cases

I approve and would contribute if I had studied more than one year of combined law, and that too not at a very reputed law school. I have barely acquainted myself with cases of any sort. :(

    credit transfer?!?

Oh so you have handed everything in now? Lol I threw all of my unit outlines away. Since I was doing App Fin/Law at Mac and now doing Com/Law at usyd I also want transfer my law units. But the law unit outlines aren't online. I got Foundations because I can still access Blackboard but not...

    credit transfer?!?

Sorry I still can't "activate" my economics and business account lol. But I got a usyd email about the credit transfer form and it said I can access can within 48 hours. So I should be able to later today. Yeah I can sent it to you to show you how it is. :)

    The Cricket Thread

re: The Official Cricket Thread Lol you're right. We only have a 07/08 thread and a 09/10 thread.

    Sydney (the best)?

It depends on which industry you want to be employed in and which degree you have. What degree are you doing?

    credit transfer?!?

I believe we can enrol in it straight away. This link Key Dates for Variations of Enrolment - The University of Sydney says the last day to change enrolment but there doesn't seem to be a first day. I plan to do it after each faculty (I doing com/law) recognises some of my credit. Also mg unit...

    What's the appeal of Law?

I agree with what you said but that would even be true if you represent friends and family though to a lesser extent. But I think personal gain (or avoiding personal injury) is a really strong motivator for the lawyer to argue his/her case well, just like if someone paid them a million dollars...

    credit transfer?!?

Hey thanks and congrats on your transfer too. Well today I went to enrol and they told me that you enrol your subject as if you will not transfer any credit. So for me since I do com/law, I had to put the first year com subjects and first year law subjects even though I will probably get credit...

    credit transfer?!?

Um I know that for usyd you sort the credit stuff out when you go to enrol at the uni. For unsw, even though the accepting and enrolling of the offer happens online, to transfer credits you need to meet with the people in charge of the faculties in person. You should try to confirm this though...

    Laptops for Uni

Re: Are Laptops rly nessesary for uni? There is really only one answer to your question, which is no because you use the word "necessary." Everybody can use pen and paper so no nothing disastrous will happen if you don't use a laptop. But what can be debated is if laptops are more helpful or...

    UWS internal transfer q's

From my understanding, it depends on what you want to transfer to. Some courses might allow transfering after one semester but most allow it after one year. For the grades, like I said, really depends on your UAI and the degree you want to change to.
