    genetics the code broken

Gene linkage I thought linked genes were located very close together on a chromosome meaning that during crossing over it is very unlikely for them to be seperated meaning that they are almost always expressed in the phenotype together. I think that's what it is or else I'm screwed.

Theres an ad thats prob only shown in wagga area. But it's for ATEL, which is an employment or appreticship agency or something, and it has a family looking at the family moving next door, and the dad keeps going. "Must be an account" cos he has good shit, but he says it in the most annoying...

    Trials And Tribulations...

We just received our Trials back. I got half decent marks but gosh I could have done better. I'm wondering if the Trials were hard in general or if I seriously need to change my HSC expectations.

    Who get's 90%?

I'd just liek to know, is there anyone out there who constantly gets 90% (or even 80%) in Chemistry with ease? How hard do you find it compared to all the other usual subjetcs ie. Maths, English, Physics, Biology? I hope I'm not the only one struggling...

    Supplementary Texts for Powerplay

I was just wondering... how many supplementary texts do you think would be sufficient enough for this elective? Students in my class ae encouraged to collect well over ten but I have a feeling that'll just confuse you even more. Do you think four or five would be enough?

    Dystopia. BNW/BR

I've found whole heap of 'conspiracy theories' relating to what Huxley and Scott are actually trying to say. BNW: - Either Huxley is bagging out religion through the parody of the Church in the form of singeries etc. or he is commenting on the fact that Bernard's identity is pretty much...

    Jacaranda Physics HSC

My 12 Physics class uses the Jacaranda textbook and apparently quite a lot of it contains false or slightly incorrect information. I find Excel somwhat simplistic sometimes - no use when trying to expand on a topic. I have no problems with Jacaranda though. If it can get me through Year 12 with...

    ultrasound

I think Ultrasounds are caused by both reflection and refraction; it all depends on the angle. Whenever the wave from the transducer reaches an interface in a perpendicular orientation the wave is reflected back in the exact same line as the initial wave (with less energy though). If a wave hits...

    Chemistry vs Physics - difficulty?

Chemistry is by far harder than Physics for me. Not that the concepts in Chemistry are hard but I find the subject fractured and hard to string together. Its all pretty much a whole lot of knowledge and no grounding.
