    Distance education.

Re: Anyone else doing distance ed? I'm doing my HSC with OTEN for medical reasons too ( well actually similar reasons to Chrisssss - Something to do with moronic students or something.. haha) I don't find it too bad. I do miss being able to just stick my hand up and get an instant answer, but...

    Entertainment Industry

I did Entertainment(TVET) for my HSC and we focused on Tech Operations and Backstage work . I really enjoyed it. Was great to come out of school holding a Cert III as well as HSC. Many places do Events Management at diff levels. TAFE does, as does International College of Management in Manly...

    Distance education.

I do all my subjects by OTEN (distance) as I'm 20 and they didn't offer the subjects I wanted at a local TAFE. I find it hard to stay motivated too. The work isn't heaps hard, but it's easy to just keep 'putting it off' all the time.. like...now. Haha. I should be doing my Assessment 1 tasks...

dropping 2 unit maths to general....

I'm most likely dropping from 3u to general which may sound silly to some people, but I am doing primary education at uni, which is apparently based on general not 2u maths... so figured this would be more advantageous to me. I think just do what feels right... :)

Still haven't decided on subject for yr 12!!!

Thanks for that :) the problem i'm swaying so much with maths is because I know i didnt put as much effort in this year as I should have - my final mark for 3u maths was exactly 50% so I only just passed... I know if I put the effort in I can do much better, and I do enjoy it which is a bonus -...

Well i'm in pretty much teh same predicament as you are... I am doing 3u maths but only got 48% for 2u and 25% for 3u... I think for now I will stick with it - as I am enjoying the course and with more than 10units i can drop it whenever I want... maybe you should do the same? With english...

Help Fo Next Yr Subject Selection!!!

It really depends what you like and what you're good at. I do chemistry and it's not the easiest of subjects but the scaling is pretty alright if you can do well at it. Hospo is a more career orientated subject, if you are planning to go into a career that requires that sort of experience or if...

Extension courses for year 12? And what are you dropping?

The reason I'd either do 2u or 4 u english is I don't like the structure or concept of 3unit english, but my teacher thinks i'd be really good at 4 unit... so yeah... Maths i'm pretty sure i'll stick to 3 unit coz I love it, and Chem and senior science are not too bad coz I like science too...
