By the end of this year, I would have sat in seat #1 for 3 of my exams (out of a total of 9) :P

I live in the hills district too, and it take me 30mins max to get to Macquarie. Then again, that area is pretty broad so there might be worser options where you are.

Around what time can we expect the orientation to finish?

I understand that it's appealing that the loan is interest free and that you don't actually have to repay it until you reach a certain income, but I'd still rather be in my position at the end of my degree than someone who owes $40k to the government.
