    Eddy currents

Oh okay, so when lemme get this straight... When it goes off the magnetic field the part of the metal still on the magnetic field the eddy currents go anticlockwise and downwards and the part of the metal off the magnetic field goes anticlockwise and upwards...? is that right? right hand push...

    Eddy currents

    How do you know which way they "Spin"? Like, for example: There is a magentic field coming out of the page and we move a metal surface across to the right? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .____. . . . . . . . ...

    ppm help

Oh i see, yeah the diesel is. But i think your meant to assume that it is burnt in sufficient oxygen so no matter what your always gonna have the sulfur being completely burnt (along with the diesel). well they have 50ppm So the 50/1,000,000 part is to get the percentage of sulfur. Then they...

    Please Help

I have the same problem... My physics teacher fails... I think they might have learnt to teach at the place or something... lol I've been using HSC online and other websites to ATTEMPT to learn something, if anything. You're just gonna have to study and try and learn the whole course, as...

    Questions

Not sure about why concentration and pressure don't change the value of K... But the reason we don't use high pressure during the conversion of SO2 to SO3 is because it is not enconomically viable. The equipment required costs too much. I think they use like 2 atmospheres.

Is your question how do they know that 1 mol of sulfur makes one mol of SO2? S(s) + O2(g) --> SO2(g) 1 + 1 --> 1 (mols) And because there is 3/32.07 mols of sulfur there must be 3/32.07 mols of SO2 Then because it is defined at 25 degrees and 100Kpa then...

Ah okay, thanks for that. :D

    Equilibrium Reactions - Help yeah?

Okay, so I don't really understand this whole thing... Like for example with Ammonia production: N2(g) + 3H2(g) <--> 2NH3(g) + (Heat) SO, with an increase in temperature the reaction should shift left...? because if you add heat, which is already a product it shifts to try and make more...

    Hardest HSC science course?

Biology = Straight forward. Just remembering LOTS of stuff. Physics = Conceptual. Hard to understand but less actual work. Chemistry = Bit of both. I think its the middle ground of the other two. I personally find physics the hardest, but I also suck at maths lol
