The 2004 HSC - Physics Paper

Very nice, most of us are stuck with just the white bits of the paper. I have a huge collection of disjointed papers at home where you write on some of the parts with questions.

    Michael Jordan

It was a really irrational question. Besides, to stay in the air for 2.5 seconds, you would probably have to jump to a height high jumpers would be proud of (I calculated it)

The 2004 HSC - Mathematics Paper

Oh, I think I got that one wrong then

IMPORTANT - Mafs sux - surely u agree

Agree with that. As they won't let us 2 and 3U students use graphics calculators, this is much safer. Reasonably straightforward sort of course even if it doesn't have exactly what you want.

    Finished in 45 min

I have finished a few exams early. I varied between leaving and saying back to go over my answers. Either is OK. Some people will stay to the end even if they finish really early.

    Q27 - who liked it

It was really pretty good. I had one like in in my trials so it was easy.

Who is not even half way though there hsc yet?

1 Left for me tommorow, yay! I should feel sorry for all you guys who are going into next week, really I should :)

    Japanese Ext

He did become an electrican in the text. I'm not sure if we were supposed to talk about that to show our general knowledge of the text, or if it didn't matter. Question 1 was alright, the rest was rather challenging.

The big ugly AAS reliability/validity question

I said invalid, but fairly reliable, the 0.64 was an outlier and should have been excluded (I think)
  10. F

    amphiprotic

I think it just had to be shown reacting with water. It acts as a proton donor, making H3O and a proton acceptor, making OH.

    Option 1 - Industrial Chemistry

I thought that the emlusion thing was supposed to be like mayo or french dressing or something.

    Jap cont.

I don't know abput that cat dictionary, but it ws a pretty mean paper with heps of higher order thinking and non-syllabus kanji. I thogth they were supposed to have some questions focussed so even band 2 students could get it right, where were those ones?

    Timing.

Part 1, approx 20 min, part 2 required 40 min part 3, any time that was left and could have used some more. Felt as though I was writing sheer garbage.
