    projectile question

    there's an actual equation that u could of just used straight away R = u^2 sin20 / g where u = initial velocity 0 = theta which was 30 and g = 9.8 omg for a 4 mark question it saved so much time :D answer was 220.9

    Prototyping??

Another disadvantage of prototypes is that it doesn't always take into consideration the technical design of the system, for example it could just be a simple model, so it can produce false expectations for the users

IPT "Last Minute" Question and Answer

in response to that case study question, you'll just get a general one on the exam... the other ones were pretty much there to help you get practice on analysing them, u dont actually have to study those case studies :P

    are you ready??

I just look at processing as the manipulation of data... which is basically changing it to be used in another IS anyway :P i just hope we dont get some complicated system flowchart to draw

    Opinions please

Yeah i dont follow the success one answers at all.. if you write that much in the exam you're just wasting time Just mention the most relevant stuff, i think the marking guidelines from the independent paper were a pretty good example of how much you need to write, the marker just wants to...

    Opinions please

    Opinions please

yes, i very well understand that but when it asks for information technologies there's quite a few which you can name... i think i've got a grasp of it now... i dont have problems actually answering the question just deciding how to write it in a shortened form, and yeah i can sorta see how...

    Opinions please

ok but here's the thing.... a manager who does not participate in the system at all but uses the system to produce information is regarded as a participant... well that's what my teacher has told me so i dont see how this is any different... :/

    Anyone aiming for 100?

You can always aim for 100 but i think ipt is such an unlikely subject to get it... you're analysing situations, hopefully the criteria is fairly leniant i got 90% in my trials but that was only because the marks were kept strictly to the marking criteria... my teacher even said that he marks...

    Opinions please

OK here's a few i just finished doing the sample exam from success one and i disagree with some of the sample answers, for a system which tracks a product using barcodes and it's sole purpose is to provide customers tracking of their 'to be delivered' goods, how arn't the customers...

    Probability Question

errm... u draw the table of the 36 possibilities, for two dice it's 36x36 possible outcomes, however only four of them produce an added amount of 45 so the answer was 1 - 5/36x36

    Option 1 - Industrial Chemistry

god i filled with booklet for this option that 7 mark question with the map asked you to basically argue both sides because site C could be used for either sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide... reason being it had everything such as transport, market, raw materials from the sea etc etc but...

The 2004 HSC - (Standard) English Paper 2

pretty easy exam... the only thing that worried me was that the question on witness was soooo broad... so rather than just get into things i had abit of a thought about what to write and ended up focusing on the tension and developing romance, which i based all around the clash of cultures...

    Dialogue - The Club

"Composers often use dialogue to highlight certain aspects of society Discuss this view by referring to 2 or 3 specific scenes in "The Club" and other related texts of your own choosing" ok i have no idea what scenes to write about... i didnt think they'd focus on something like scenes...

    Noise

Yeah it's from Automated Manufacturing Systems... it's abit hard because electromagnetic forces should be one factor... u can hardly split it into three
  17. D

    Noise

heyhey yeah i was just doing a question which asked me to list three possible sources of noise... up till now i've just used the example of cable wiring reducing the effect of distortions in television which occur when using an attenae that encounters magnetic fields etc etc i'd just like...

IPT sukd ay!! i hated it..

Yeah i agree.. i'd have to say... our teacher is probably the worst He comes to class minimum 15 minutes late, takes 10 minutes to do the roll then to top it off... "ill photocopy some stuff" and comes back another 20 minutes later.. leaving him a total of.... 10 minutes teaching! i just...
