    Highest UAI at your school?

Hmm, weird how people say non-selective schools did bad. Our school cherrybrook tech got our highest as being 100 uai, not to mention he was our school captain, which makes it even harder. Looks like our public schools are gonna start beating selectives.

    Does Five Marks Matter

Yeah, I agree.. I kinda stuffed up my first economics asssessment task last year. But it doesnt really matter. In fact the first assessments are usually used to give you a taste of whats coming up so that you can be well prepared. The main thing is that if you did quite bad in your first...

    Best Economics Textbook

Hmm, very interesting. I actually attend the leading edge tuition, and it looks like almost the whole of the sydney area use leading edge textbook. And only like 5-6 schools (from what I heard from our tutor) had used Tim Riley's book. I suppose, its good to read Riley's book first, to...

    Finding Nemo techniques

Hmm, If you downloaded my summary from that other topic of Finding Nemo. It should provide you with a good starting point.. However, this is advice from a hsc english marker, and I kinda agree. "Finding Nemo fails to achieve the aspects of a physical journey, and its lack of sophistication...

    Escape velocity

    Notes On Finding Nemo Needed

I agree with tabularasa. The text, is either way a too "simplistic text." It fails to provide any in-depth message. Furthermore, its lack of connection with the core texts as well as stimulus text makes Finding Nemo simplistic in its issues..

    Should i drop extension english

I suppose we're all in teh same boat. But for those doing speculative ficiton, u'll find that its a really really interesting genre, a meta genre as my teacher says. Althoguh u may hate the subject due to the extensive amount of time used on one unit, its really worthwhile, continue doing it...

    Notes On Finding Nemo Needed

Basically, if u analyse finding nemo through my summary, like in distinguishing the stages of a physical journey, it will greatly help you with relating to your core text and stimulus text. Leaving home is a stage in our physical journey in which one is forced upon this journey by the department...

    Help, Help, Help Me Plz...

ouch..sounds kinda late.. :P You know even sending a textual analysis is useless, cos it depends on your questions set upon physical journeys. My question had dealt with the concept of "It is the journey that matters, not the arrival. " Hence, if u can supply me the question, I can help...

    Speculative Fiction

Umm, they gave us the Dune Book itself.. Just trying to get as much info on the book as possible. Because, its relatively harder to analyse a novel for specific issues, whereas in English advanced, u just focus on a poem or somethign rite now.. and not in too much depth.. XD anyways, i...
