Me too, until I realised the dude had a Japanese name... >_< Estelle: Guessing is good! Guessing is what keeps us all alive during exams! ^_^

    Japanese Beginners

Apparently a few people have gotten into trouble from the past because they were suspected of being non-Beginners, simply because they used too much kanji/vocab/structures/etc... It's quite a sad thought... T_T Anyways, I hope I didn't do too badly in Japanese... It's like, the only 2...

Bleh, half the stuff was non-contextual. I mean, seriously, that reading diary entry was TERRIBLE! I DOUBT a native Japanese speaker would say: "Wasabi! Takusan! Karai!" even when overdosed with wasabi. Like, seriously, that sounds like what someone who has undertaken 2 weeks of Japanese would say.

    Japanese Beginners

I'm pretty sure that most of the markers should be well-educated in the language, and are competent to mark things beyond than just the Beginners. However, they'd have to know the syllabus *really* well... ~nagara is a good one to use... Man, I should've stuck in more redundant/irrelevant...

It was "Chichi no hi" or something along those lines - Father's Day gift. Edit: Or at least I hope it was... XD

No, that doesn't mean you stuffed up - it just shows that you have a creative mind which hasn't burnt out after English, and that it's carried out even in a foreign language... You are one brave soul... *hands you a medal* Any other Question 3 takers who wish to confess and thus receive their...

The possibilty of a beginners student > a continuers student

"I feel pride in being lazy"... ^_^;;; And it's over! No more useless cramming of Wakatta contents, and time to start learning all those English Modules! XD

I didn't like how that Reading response didn't have any boxes, which meant I needed to control myself in the amount I wrote... >_< The paper was generally quite good though. I did 2 as well, Estelle. My admiration and respect goes toward those who did No. 3... I avoided that question...

The possibilty of a beginners student > a continuers student

Yup, that's what the Extension course is mostly based on - society, technology, and your opinions on them - in Japanese. Anyways, best of luck with the course, and I hope you'll enjoy it! ^_^ (And I should really study... Demo, namakemono ni hokori wo kanjiru... Ahahahaha! XD)

    Question 3 |4 | 5

I personally didn't like the open nature of the question, considering it was an open invite for people to toss in their generic memorised essays... And I was sort of expecting a non-essay form, considering the trend from the past few years... Oh wells, I suppose that means lots more randomness...

First Three Words of your MW (Just 'Cause)

A quotation: "Music is the..." First words: "The clock struck..." Kwayera: A nice rebellion at that, and the ending sounds rather intriguing. ^_^

Any last tips for Begginners before the exam??

Yay for cramming! *needs to start studying* Estelle: Make sure you know everything in the syllabus (because our course is purely based on the syllabus...), and keep your calm! Minna, ganbatte kudasai! ^_^

The possibilty of a beginners student > a continuers student

There are quite a few differences between the Beginners and Continuers course, and I think the main one would be that the Beginners has more of a set vocabulary and grammar structures, whereas the Continuers have the freedom to go anywhere (which is why there aren't any prescribed textbooks for...
