European Anger as China Executes Briton

You're certainly spot on in depicting the brutal reality that can await Westerners travelling overseas - one need only look at the Australian who stole a barcoaster in Thailand for an example closer to home (luckily that had a happy ending). But your absolute lack of condemnation of this...

Strong and effective climate change policy, that doesn't involve a great, big new tax

Re: Strong and effective climate change policy, that doesn't involve a great, big new We also own about 25% (debatable, but we certainly own a very large amount) of the world's Thorium deposits. We're well equipped to either use nuclear fuel alongside alternatives, or sell it and tax the...

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

    Who will you vote for?

They worried me for a second because they said "we will be moving for significant amendments to this bill if it arrives in the senate" right after they called it a bad and pointless policy. I guess "significant amendments" is code for changes unacceptable to Labour and hence equivalent of a no...

    Who will you vote for?

He's not a Greens Senator. He was a Greens candidate for a federal lower house by-election seat in. He did not get elected.

    Who will you vote for?

Allegedly anybody who isn't an anarchist or libertarian 'hates freedom'. :o Clive Hamilton is a nutjob. They ran him because he was high profile and they figured they could keep him in line. Luckily he lost. Still a big mistake. You don't want to dilute what you stand for like that.

    Who will you vote for?

Is it because doing so would force you to confront your own homosexual tendencies? :o

    Who will you vote for?

There has been a funky 33%/33%/33% split between the three major parties every time I look at this poll. Other, real, professional polls of Australia youth also produce a similar split. Interesting.

    Who will you vote for?

It's funny because politically he probably largely agrees with you. Edit: And so do I.

    Internet filtering: You can't opt-out

Completely true. C.f. children with no human contact for years who are raised by animals (wolves, etc). They are not human psychologically (they act completely like the animals that raise them) and years in human society does not change them. Edit: Of course the rest of your rant about God...

Does Australia seriously have sedition laws? Ah, wait, Wikipedia says we do, introduced by good old Johnny Howard. Fuck.

Who the fuck quotes Ann Coulter in their sig and expects to be taken seriously? Still, you're right - the chanfags have over-inflated views of their importance.
