Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows any book store around the CBD/eastern area where i can sell textbooks which i have never used and are new for the same price or at least 90% of the price? Cause i dropped this subject and I spent around $85 on textbooks i'm never going to use.

Hi i'm in year 12 this year and i've been thinking about trying to get into comm/science...i've done some research on it but im still not sure on what career paths come with doing this course. Does anyone know or have any ideas?

Atm, i'm finding it normal to year 11..the only difference is that everything actually counts now so stupid mistakes are unacceptable in exams n stuff but other than that its been alrite...been confused recently about subject choices (actually been stressed out) but i think ive made the right...

firstly welcome ^^ secondly, i would personally never drop 2 unit maths especially if you were 7th...but i guess it also depends on your other subjects...if they all scale well then i would drop maths considering you're first or second in alll your other subjects

The theory behind it isn't hard but the mathematical parts and concepts are sometimes hard to understand especially with a teacher who doesn't really explain it very well >< and i think i just need more harder stuff otherwise it kinda bores me

i get tutored for maths not because i need it but because i want more work and revision in maths...i also do it to try and get ahead of the class....with physics, i also get tutored but only because my teacher can't teach >< i don't think you need a tutor for chem or economics because they are...

i wish i was like you guys but i just find it an obligation...i love 2 and 3 unit maths and atm im topping my year in them... but i just dread going to 4 unit classes all the time...im thinking of dropping it because my heart is not set in it and im doing pretty well in all my other...

are you saying they look at all your subjects? i thought they looked at individual subjects because how can they have time to look and compare all of everyone's subjects?

yeah i kinda meant what that says (above) but thanks for the other info guys...what do you mean it might effect the UAI? and if it effects UAI wouldn't it therefore affect the scaling?

Does your school ranking the year before your HSC effect your scaling? because that's what i've heard...
