Keep going guys...not long to go now.I've been told that the Catholic Biology HSC paper is easier than the Catholic trial..so thats a little re-assuring. Hahaha..haven't been here in a while..not that anyone would have noticed but anyways..
:D
Finally thats over..bio was intimidating although it wasnt really that hard when I actually sat down and did the catholic trial.
All you people who are finished are lucky..I have one more to go on monday then I'm free..:D
It wasnt as bad as I thought either. I did the catholic trial too...although I did find some of the questions difficult..especially the one where you had to fill in the circles and squares thing..
But only within the bands 3-4 most probably..as long as you can BS and you use keywords from the syllabus you might be able to scrape up a few marks. But really..if you studied you should be fine it's all in your head. I'm glad I dropped business though
Yeah that's right. Our teacher gave us a document that outlines the course requirements. I'm sure theres a certain amount of hours that must be completed in order for a student to fulfill course requirements. It'ls like how this guy last year had to repreat because he skipped too many days of school
Well then..I'm no quite sure. But the people I know who do senior science don't do any other sciences. so I guess not. I'm not entirely sure but I think there is a limit to how many units of science you can do
Defining 'health' and 'disease' is difficult because the terms are so broad. But the way that outteacher defined them is this
Disease: Any condition which impairs normal living processes.
i.e the disturbance of Homeostasis. The chemical and physical environment surrounding the cell must be...
To think that something as important as this can be done so carelessly..I wonder what would have happened if I didn't appeal for a remarking..it's ridiculous a guy did 14 pages whereas I did 30 and he got more marks than me..but Luckily my marks got doubled..still the thought of it makes me...
Actually we had to fill in what is known as an appeal form..get it signed by the subject co ordinator..I don't know if they have it at other schools.. i didnt realises it until the teacher told me I could do it.
However you must do it within 3 days upon recieving the assessment task...
Yeah had to do an assessment too..however I think our teacher marks rather carelessly..I applied for a remarking appeal and got double the marks I had previously for my innovations assessment..to think that I could have been stuck with that mark if I didnt complain
Actually i'm doing the Communication Option too. Our class uses the Heinemann text book. however our teacher compiled a seperate book with notes regard communication. If you want more notes on communication I suggest the Excel biology textbook which has a whole chapter on it. Gotta dish out $40...
