    Bachelor of Arts ???

With Arts (lang) you get $5000 towards a semester or year overseas & have to do a language major. Normal arts you don't have these requirements, and you also don't have to complete as many credit pts. The reason the UAI is so high is the demand for the course - all UAI cut offs are corresponding...

    Can't Practise!!

of course you can apply for special provisions - they're not that harsh! You should ask your school to find out the range of provisions you can apply for. E.g. if you're still not quite better you can ask for rest periods (i.e. not having to play each piece one after the other) which helps a...

There is a Family/Psychological reading of Lear - I think that's what you mean? Richard Eyre's film version (1998) displays characteristics of a Family/Psychological reading.

    Home and Away stalker

Home and away generally doesn't make sense :) The stalker is so Zoe. It has to be. There wasn't really any proof they were male, as they had a mask on - and who says women can't be strong.

    American Idol 4

Anwar, Bo and Constantine are awesome! It's so easy to tell the all round musicians from just the 'singers.' Vonzell is great too. So really they're all pretty alright. So I'm scared about next elimination.. hoping its Anthony or Scott. Carrie's not bad but she doesn't seem to have much of a...

    Pathways

Pathways cannot be abused. Everyone has the right to complete year 12 from 1 to 5 years, so for whatever reason, they may have an extra advantage in some cases, but everyone else has that choice too. I did pathways because of medical reasons, and it was really good choice. Sure an extra year of...

SAM was spot on for me, exactly the same as my actual UAI =)
  13. E

    Is SAM accurate??

SAM was spot on for me. Half because i did half my subjects last year, but that also means that the subjects I did this year didn't change much in the scaling. But anyhow, well done SAM =)

    Vocab

When you have a handful of new words, it's really helpful to write a composition using all of them (and check with a teacher or someone if you're using them in the right context etc), so you're getting used to the words and at the same time practising your writing skills.

    Final rankings

well let me start a trend and post nice LOW rankings.. like my adv english one, 117/ about 160 haha. but im not particularly worried, everyone at my school is on a similar mark so theres not a huge difference between my mark and whoevers number 1. phew. but still. who can beat that?

So who's burned all of their notes?

i ain't burning any notes, i chose subjects i actually LIKE and i need all the notes for the future (music, languages..). so sadly there will be no bonfire here. maybe i shouldve done maths and sciences so i could have fun burning them? although, i think the pain of actually doing the subjects...

    Australian Idol 2004

im glad you have your opinion and are sticking to it. anyone who appreciates music gets my appreciation :p BUT i can't not disagree with the statement that courtney doesn't choose songs from a range of styles. the songs he's performed are from a HUGE range of styles. maybe its easy to...
