    how much detail do your teachers give about exam questions?

    For all our subjects except SOR, we got a general outline of what the paper was going to be like. With SOR, we were flying blind (but when are we not?) For English, we all knew basically what the questions were going to be (as my teacher pointed out, it's pretty obvious that the AOS paper...

    Physics is used in many aspects of medicine. High school bio, on the other hand, isn't so much the sort of biology that's used in most medicine courses.

    Our school offered earth and enviro, senior science, bio, chem and physics. Earth and enviro got scrapped due to lack of interest. I'm doing bio. I did have chem done as a preference, but I didn't get it- something that I don't mind too much about, to be honest.

    What HSC subjects do u do?

    English Advanced and Extension. Maths General. IPT Biology. SOR1 Modern History. I'm doing all of those because I like them, except for SOR- that's compulsory at my school.

    Advanced English vs. Standard English

    Interestingly enough, it appears that, in the above list of "schools that don't do standard english" most, if not all, of them are public selective schools. On the topic of English, I do advanced because the harder the work is, the less I hate it. Seriously- I spent years 7-9 absolutely...
