    Tombs in P&H

Here's what I have on my sheets: The dead were buried outside the city walls because of the belief that only the living could dwell inside the city gates. No tombs have been found in Herculaneum. Outside Pompeii, whole streets of tombs exist. The inscriptions and decorations provide valuable...

    Anyone run out of time?

Ha, half of my school does 1 unit and as soon as the necessary one hour was over, three quarters of the people left. In fact, I think there was only about ten people out of about 70 that actually stayed for the full one and a half hours. I nearly ran out of time, but that wasn't because I was...

General thoughts about the Earth & Enviromental Science Exam

HA, that's exactly what I did. I love the ability to make up crap in the Earth exam.

    The, "Who hasn't studied" Thread

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Actually, I did a little bit of study but I honestly hated the subject so much that I just don't really give a damn. If I could have dropped it throughout the year, I would have. I'm hoping for an essay, because I hate other text types, and I'm hoping the question will be...

General thoughts about the Earth & Enviromental Science Exam

I honestly didn't think it was that hard, either. I could answer every question, so that was a bonus. Whether I answered them right is another thing. I thought the Option - Introduced Species - was surprisingly easy. But I got to do a flow diagram, so I was happy. The question on our process...

    Your thoughts on the exam

BWAHAHA. *dies* Actually, the exam wasn't that bad. Although I had already decided that I was going to scab off the other people in the exam who get the best marks. I do well in the assignments but go crap in the exams, so coming no. 1 has its advantages at the end, I suppose. Pompeii and...

    Section 3

I did physical journey and spent five minutes of my reading time thinking wtf does interpretations of the new mean? Anyway, I ended up disagreeing with it because I love arguing. I said how physical journeys weren't interpretations of the new, rather they were interpretations of the old...

    Creative Writing

Ha, my story was lame, but my grandfather didn't die. Instead he told a story about when he was nine and he and his best friend found a map, went on a treasure hunt and found some 'treasure'. The fought over it, and they didn't talk to each other again. Then it was 10 years later and my...

    2006 Roll call!

Ha, Penrith. It makes Booragul sound so pov. Yeah, I go to school in the middle of no-where. Is Penrith good/bad/awesome/don't care? I have a vague inkling of where it is. Very vague. Where is everyone else at?

    Problems in our E2 cohort.

If it was due on my 18th birthday (August 28th) I would've been annoyed. Very annoyed. I sympathise with you for your plight. That'd be a kick in the guts. But no doubt you'll get something in that's pretty damn good. I doubt you'd be doing ee2, otherwise.

Who Else Is Not Finished Yet!!!!

Ha! I'm not the only one. Mind you, all I have to do is go through my mw and check for grammer/spelling/etc and complete my RS. Although my RS is looking pretty shitty too... I just don't see the point of it. I understand it's a year long process but I'm not keen on the whole let's write 1,500...

    CSSA Trial

Well, it was easier than I thought it would be but it was still hard. The teacher made up Section One because we hadn't finished Pompeii and Herculaneum by the time the trials rolled up. It wasn't hard, it was just remembering people's names and what ancient thingymabobs were. Section Two -...

Is anyone serious about their future?

I'm getting more serious than I was, realising that the HSC is only a couple of months away. (But then again, so is schoolies) I'm aiming for a UAI of 94 and something in archaeology or pyschology. Whether it all comes together is an entirely different matter.

    Trials

Two weeks away?? Damn, I wish our school hadn't planned ours so early. Caring for the Country isn't the hardest elective, though. At least, that's what I think. And two weeks is plenty of time to get things ready, unless, of course, you're like me and a terrible procrastinator. But I had my...

    help

LOL. I didn't go to a sewerage plant. I think I was pretty lucky, actually. Although the teacher did want to take us to the dump, but we managed to talk her out of that one.

    Titles

Mine was originally 'Who Killed Sam Spade?' but sadly our good friend Spade had to be cut. I have absolutely no idea what to title it now.

    Trials

I wish earth and environmental was my last exam. Mine's the last on the first week, and I get one day off to study for it so I suppose I shouldn't complain. Nah, whoever devised the time-table just decided to start it at 1.25pm for some reason. 3 hours of earth and environmental is definitely...

    Trials

Mine are a week and a half away. I've summarised the first two topics but I couldn't bring myself to do Caring for the Country. I hated that topic with an undying passion. We got our trial exam timetables. I'm just annoyed that I have to stay at school til 4:30.
