Hi,
Do you know of any small or medium general practice firms in Sydney metro areas with a good reputation. I'd like to apply (by letter) for unpaid work experience with them.
Thanks
Hi,
I was just wondering what is the going rate for work as a newly graduated solicitor in a suburban general law practice. Is it $35,000-$40,000. Also how much is the going rate for 2 years post admission experience in a suburban general law practice?
Thanks
Hi,
Can you help me to think of some reasons that I can use to convice my University lecturer to give me one more mark so that I can get a Credit.
Thanks
Does anyone have the subject outline for LAWS2035 Land Dealings: Residential and Commercial Contracts
I wish to do this subject at UNSW in the summer via cross institution.
Many Thanks.
You will need a degree to eligible for entry to the JD. Also the JD is charged at post graduate subject cost rates.
The main difference is the LLB has 5 electives (after exemptions) (assuming you have a first degree - you will get exempted for 48cp of electives) while the JD has 3 electives...
Does Criminal Law have 2 lectures per week?
On the timetable website it says:
Lec1 01 Mon 09:00
Lec1 02 Mon 17:00
Lec 2 01 Wed 09:00
Lec 2 02 Wed 19:30
Is the combination Lec1, 01 and Lec 2, 01 or is it read
Lec1 01 Lec1 02?
It took about 10 days for me last time, so order them as soon as you can. They get a courier to send it to your home, around 7am for mine.
It's the cheapest place that I found for new law books. Do anyone know any places that are cheaper (for new books).
I had a number for BPay last time...
UWS grad law has 4 subjects a semester, while USYD grad law has 3. Will this affect the one year full time equivalent requirement? i.e. you would have done more than one year of USYD equivalent, is it still OK?
Musk, the course will be Law.
Huratio, if you try to pick 5, the computer will tell you error, exceeded credit points. I remember when I did SDP, I did 4 instead of 3. But that had to go thru e-vop, with solid reasons. It was approved.
The part I am not sure is for part time students...
Intro to Law is a co-requisite to many of the other law subjects, so as long as I do Intro to Law then I can do other law subjects at the same time, so yeah, I can do 4 Law subjects in terms of requisites they are no problem.
And as long as I arrange it in the correct semesters, then that is...
Say I don't make it into Law next year, will I be able to do say BBusiness and then pick all Law subjects, then transfer over to Law the year after. Or would they make me do all business subjects in first year?
They say that there will be a transition period, so you wont be entirely affected.
And I think Jasee means that Bus/Comp will be given a new name for the new 2007 equivalent course. You will be in the old course.
The problem is that the variation of program is not always approved. The true reason is did not make it into full time, so part timer wanting to do full time load. And would also need to apply every semester too.
Did you select part time or full time thru UAC? Because if you started off as full time, I believe you can easily choose less subjects. But if you started off as part time (thru UAC) would you be able to select a full time load.
The usual number of subjects is 2 per semester for part time. Would it be possible to pick 4, or would the online enrolment program detect that you are part time and would let you exceed the credit points.
Is there such thing as being officially part time, or is it just for UAC purposes...
