ok everyone a performance essay is hard to explain but here goes... Its like you write a essay explaining concepts of the plays you are studying (usually they give you a question) and then you read this essay on stage but through out this you cut to extracts of the play that show the concept...

i wrote about the archetypal roles of people in a perfect suburbia. I wrote it from the 'blacksheep's' point of view who was a clown which was the family business. Yea bit abstract but im pretty happy with it.:)
