    Differentiating between aims and purpose

I doubt it. The history papers have been quite easy this year. Modern was straight forward, and I hear ancient was too. No need to go messing with the kids who do extension!

    Differentiating between aims and purpose

I hope it's not as specific as aims + purposes, although worse would be to get something like 2002 (or maybe it was 2001) asking to compare between your view and the source's, as well as looking at other historians.

    historians quote exchange

I've read about 2 things out of the source book. On the whole they're pretty crap as they waffle on and on and rarely get to a decent point.

Which 2U history do you do?

Was the ancient exam on Wednesday or today?

Which 2U history do you do?

    Ancient? Modern? Both?

    can they nominate?

Never done it before and I'll eat my computer if it happens tomorrow. There's 20 something case studies so they'd have to go through and do that for each one. If they do, I'm screwed as I've only learnt 2 out of the 4 (or is it 5??) issues in mine.

If they ask about Context in Question 2: Case Study

You should try and do 3, with minor references to others if possible.

    The History Wars

I've got no idea what the history wars are and it doesn't matter what the source is or where it comes from. You'll always find the same core areas of debate on historiography so why try to predict what the actual source will be??

    The History Wars

    History wars??

If they ask about Context in Question 2: Case Study

Is question 2 not entirely about context vs evidence shaping historians' perspectives? You need to look at the different periods in which the historians wrote. I don't know anything about your case study but I'll try and explain it with mine. The key historians we've looked at with...

    !!@@#! Help me Please!! thankyouu!!!

You're fucked. That's probably one of the big 4 questions they could ask about Germany. Do you not know the major causes or is it detail and historians you are lacking?

    how did the 4Uers go?

I bombed the 4U exam but I think I got about 70/84 for this so I'm happy!

    modern history...major headache

I don't have any hope of learning the course thoroughly for tomorrow's trial, so I'm just taking a gamble and predicting what the questions will be. I've prepared about 3-4 syllabus dot-points for each topic and if it isn't on one of them then I'll just bs my way through it. I'll be able to...

    Synopsis - raves? rants?

You haven't really approached it the right way, it reads more like a proposal than a synopsis. It really needs to reflect the position you have adopted in your essay strongly so that people reading through a whole heap of synopsiis (what the hell is the plural for synopsis?!) can identify...

How much work did you do over the DEC/JAN hols?

We've had our proposal marked already (last day of term 4) and our 1st draft of the major work is due on the first day back. I'm surprised how early we're doing everything compared to everyone else!
