It proabably means they are sorting out staff or something, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it hasn't opened up 2-3 weeks before semester starts, email the course coordinator and ask what the deal is. Just check back often to see if it's open so you can get the class time you want.
Yep, those numbers are just the dates that that class will be running. So, if it said somehting like:
92257
AUT_KG_1_S
Lec 1, 01
TBA
21/2, 4/4
That means the class will run on the 21st of Feb and the 4th of April :)
You first need to access the handbook entry for your degree and find out the course structure / if there are any compulsory subjects. This is the handbook for 2011: http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/
Once you've found which subjects to take, you can enrol in them via MyStudentAdmin
:)
Depends on what degree you're doing. With nursing the faculty welcome can be quite useful because you find out who all your contacts are - this is pretty handy when clinical time rolls around and no one has any idea who to talk to about it.
The O-Day is just when all the clubs and societies...

All Bran, Nestle Diet yoghurt, grapes, 4 Premium crackers with extra light Philly, red apple, steak and huge salad, Curly Wurly
UTS is definitely fun if you know what's going on. There are events going on quite often and there are cool places to hang out (Loft, new Alumni Green). Plus, it's in the middle of the city! So if there isn't anything going on on campus, it's not far to somthing else :)
A question for City students:
How do I get the $10 parking at Broadway Shopping Centre? Heaps of people have mentioned it to me but I need to know the specifics. How exactly do you get the cheap parking?
Thanks :)
