Hi guys!
If anyone has a chance could you please upload a copy of the exam, or give me an idea of what the questions were about? I'm a trainee teacher and need this information for an assessment task.
Thanks!

Re: how to analyse a speech for distinctive voice? (willing to help out on other topi
Just as an aside for you to consider - if you are studying the six speeches as your prescribed text you should look elsewhere for supplementary texts as this shows a sophisticated understanding that distictive...
You should always prepare for two supplementary texts - it's better to be overprepared than under. Plus, it will ask for AT LEAST one, there's nothing stopping you writing two, and you may achieve a better holistic result if you discuss 2.
As for help with the poems I can't really help you...
Haha, I love looking through forums like this now that I am an English teacher myself.
I had shit teachers when I was at school and wanted to make a difference. And I'd like to think that I am.
Bitching and moaning about your teachers won't help you - teachers are there as guides - by...
Lol - I'd say you'd have a pretty good shot at it. Hopefully you don't mind performing in front of others, that's a huge part of BA/BMus.
Best of luck!
God yes. I think I want sex more than my boyfriend sometimes. (Just a few times though - he's usually into it just as much) Sex isn't really important for us because we're in a really commited relationship - but its a definate good thing. But we don't need it - guys definately need it more than...
Ujuphleg! You rock. No one deserves it more than you! :) Congrats!
And I think that you should divide it into subsections - but I still think that there should be an open forum for everyone to talk in ... I think it'll be so divided otherwise. You can have a bit of both really.
Well, I finished on Monday. I had;
Monday - English and Music
Wednesday - English
Thursday - Business Studies
Friday - Chemistry
Monday - Maths and Hospitality
But it's all over now! ^-^
Some schools are taught Short Term Debt/Owners Equity, but this is wrong. As superbid said it is Total Debt/Equity x 100. (Ideally, anything less than 100% is ok.) This is the only Gearing ratio you need to know.
OMG! You guys all use different terminology for the concepts. The one's I know are
Duration
Pitch
Dynamic and Expressive Techniques
Texture
Tone Colour
Structure
They are the only 6 concepts that Music 1's will be asked, you don't need to know any of the others.
And Melody...
Be wary - because remember they can specify a poem to talk about - like they did in the 2001(?) paper. I know all of them ok - and Violets and At Mornington in depth.
Ok -- I have a question about compound interest. I know the formula - but do you just stick the numbers straight in, or do you need to calculate like Superannuation with a geometric series of A1, A2 ... A20 etc. I don't understand this ...
I aspire to be a music teacher, so I am applying anywhere I possibly can. Lol. I admire my piano teacher and everything she does (Love you Franciene!) and hopefully I can impact on some kids life as much as she has impacted on mine.
We were told that the first is an expected Business Report, and the second is an extended response. In the lectures I have attended, they have said to write in report format for both, as long as you are confident to do so. Basically the report will cover either 2/3 of the 5 topics, and the...
I'm freaking out!
I practised the CSSA Trial which my piano teacher set me, but besides that, I'm memorising the concepts of music, and randomly choosing pieces of music and looking for a specific concept, eg. Pitch.
About journeys ---
Well - I got 14/15 for my first attempt at creative writing - Our Trials. I wrote about a friend of mine that had died when I was little, with music (the song they played at his funeral) being the trigger.
Our teacher told us that creative pieces needed a trigger -...
I did the exact same thing! But in the UAC guide - (either that or when you apply online) there's a number you can call and quote your Student Number, School and something else. Ooo! I found it. The number is (02) 9752 0200
Luvs!
I've got my mind set on becoming a music teacher. So ...
1. B Music/B Education - UNSW
2. B Music (Music Education) - USYD
3. B Music (+Dip Ed) - UWS & Wollongong.
