Ok. So basically you have to use specific examples of case studies to show how and why different businesses, at different times, have different management theories.(If that makes any sense...) In other words, you'd need at least two different businesses for this dot point.
Obviously, not all businesses adopt the same management styles for various reasons. Most also don't practice just one management theory throughout thir business life. Let me give you some examples to help you remember.
- A small business would not have a very formal organisational structure; but simply the business owner and all his employees. However, a larger business or company would need a taller hierarchical organisational structure wit the CEO, Board of directors etc
- A business may traditionally adopt a democratic leadership style. However, at times when production needs a boost, the business may adopt an autocratic style in order to push employees to work to their limits.
