I realise there are stickies, but I though we'd start a 2005 one because the other ones are bit old and we should just have something from the recent 2004/2005 students
For all the students out there, how do you go so well?
I studied all of the topics, about a week prior the exam, I went over everything, simply by using macquarie BS and my notes.
I structured it through topic/sub dot point and answered it, doing business management and change, employment relations and a little bit of financial marketing
i covered everything, and on the day before, i did a few mind maps, of some key points, yet i got my exam back and i skimmed 50%, people who didnt study beat me
i answered questions wrongly!? I dont know what the fuck, I misinterpret questions, example it asks to outline the leadership styles, but i start talking about management as LMC (in behavioural), but when I had a look at he answer of that question, I knew what the answer said, its not like "oh yeh, thats it"- i actually realised "yeh i know what autocratic and democratic is"
its like a got a ball of information but I didnt use it right, i didnt know whats what, and i lost HEAPS of marks for that, i got total zero, i made this same stupid mistake for organisational structure, i cant answer the questions right
i dont know what the fuck to do! seriously! sorry if im very unclear but im really angry at my result after all tha study, I dont care what methods it takes, im willing to take htem if it means a high result, i need high 80s to avoid the bad scaling
the only positive is that i beat alot of people in the report bit (they didnt even really pass, i got 12/20)- but i did do a few prac ones with my teacher, i know exactly what i did wrong for the report too
any idea's as what i should do? i can easily get out of it and drop it, im doing 12 units, or i can AGAIN try, i mean my last result was promising, i got 50% again for the Yr11 yearly, i got 70% for my yr11 BRT, and 50% for my yr11 half yearly
its like im plagued with that number, any pointers you guys got would be greatly appreciated im going tommorow to have a LONG LONG talk with my teachers to help me go better
