April 30 marked the 30 year anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war.

There were a lot of interesting articles in the paper about this event, and there were commemoration ceremonies etc.

Did anyone else read some of this stuff? What did you all think?


Also, do you think this anniversary could have an impact on what sort of questions they ask in the Indochina module? I know that when I did my HSC in Bio they asked lots of questions about the history of DNA because it was the 50 year anniversary or something.

Any thoughts on this?

I know this thread is a bit late coming lol. But I saw that nobody else had bought this up.

i think its disgusting how our vietnam vets were treated. i live next door to one (when im not at uni) and he despises the government for what they did...
