I filled in an illness/misadventure form for the Economics exam because I had a really bad headache on that day. I got 92 internal - ranked first at my school but they just copied my external mark from my internal mark so I got 92 HSC Mark. Does this mean I did really badly in the external or is this just standard procedure for illness/misadventure? If so, would I be able to get a copy of my raw mark for the exam to compare?

If an illness appeal is upheld your assessment mark will be used for your exam mark if it is higher than the exam mark.

Your external and internal marks are both 92, because in your cohort you still achieved the highest exam mark, if that makes sense. Your internal mark correlates to an exam mark, and because your first, you got the highest exam mark (which appears to be yours anyway)

Your exam mark of 92 may have been raised up because you applied for illness/misadventure. (Ie. you may have had 90 and it was raised to 92)
