A few questions about uni applications/preferences (1 Viewer)

I'm slightly confused on a few things, so if anyone could help, it'd be appreciated!

1. I'm putting in an application for a course at UOW and it says: "Are you applying to UAC for the first time? Yes or No. If Yes, UAC Number: ____________ (not your PIN number)"

Is this considered applying for the first time, since the only other contact i've had with UAC is receiving my PIN.
And what is the UAC number and where do i find it, or should i have it already?
Is it meant to be the UAC Code for that course?


2. Does anyone know anything about transfering between or dropping courses? Eg. say i make it into a Arts/Comm double degree at UOW, but find i dont like one of them, can i drop it or transfer to a different one? Or does this depend on the uni?

2. It depends on the uni. Most will let you drop/transfer from say a double down to one of the single degrees that make up the double.
