What's the question? Some of us don't have textbooks anymore...
Topic is applications of calculus to the physical world.

the question would be:

A stone is thrown so that it will hit a bird at the top of a ople. however, at the instant the stone is thrown, the bird flies away in a hoirzontal straight line at a speed of 10ms^-1. The stone reaches a height double of the pole and, in its decent, touches the bird. Find the horizontal component of the velocity of the stone.
