Well, this is one Chinese who thinks highly of the US system. Dr. Xu teaches at Yale and Fudan. He laments the current get-rich-quick mentality in China. Yet, as his own experience shows, the human spirit can triumph over both bad and good circumstances. Much of what Dr. Xu said is right. However, China is in the growing pains of a major social and economic change. The jury is still out.
