hey im havin a few probs sketchin curves by addition of ordinates method, i.e i cant do it. can some1 giv me a few tips? for example how to sketch y=sinx + cosx

me, i'd just sub in some points and sketch it from there. cheap ass way to do it, but hey it works.

sketch sin x then cos x then just add the coordinates.

what Jago said, but sometimes you have to subtract...it's hard to explain with a graph. bloody ext 1 2002 had a stupid exponential function that looked tricky but all you had to do was add ordinates...
