Does anyone know if in the HSC can i use a text that is on the syllabus as my own piece of additional material. I have not studuied it at school but i am using it in the HSC. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Which text was it? I'm pretty sure you will be penalized if you use a text in the syllabus.

So basically you are going to use a prescribed text but not the prescribed text that you have studied?

I wouldn't recommend it. You should already have a related text studied for your trials\assessments so you can just use that. If not there is still time to find a text and plenty of suggestions are offered on the forum so just have a search.
