i was just wondering, im doing the HSC in a few days and wondering about whether im going to get into my preferred course in uni or not. i was just wondering (may seem like a stupid question), but if i got into the uni i was aiming for, but do a course that has a lower ATAR cutoff, and transfer into my preferred course? is that allowed? if so, when is the earliest i can transfer? also would i be behind on classes and need to wait until next year begins?

Do a similar course with lower atar at your desired uni and try for an internal transfer after 1st semester.
