Hi guys… I recently completed my Amus for piano and I played my piece from memory but I made a few mistakes and missed three bars from my sonata.
Would this be a major mistake and a guaranteed fail ?

Firstly, congratulations on completing your Amus.
I'd advise you not to worry about this as what's done is done, but from my experiences making minor errors generally do not constitute a guaranteed fail. Markers usually don't nitpick at slips or minor errors because they are human too and understand the pressure of these exams and we're not robots, mistakes are bound to happen. As long as your personal expression was good and you played the piece as intended you should be fine and playing by memory will also boost your chances of getting good marks.
