Hey Anti,

I have read some of the tips for essay writing over the past few days, and I have to admit, they're amazing! I was never TOO great at English and I am now inspired and motivated to do well.

I am in yr 12 this yr (class of '05) and just wanted to ask you a big favour. Could you give us tips for going about writing all the various text-types. e.g. speeches, interviews, feature articles, newspaper articles, scripts, diary entries, etc.
This would be greatly appreciated as your tips make it clear in everybody's mind how to approach answering a question.

In the weeks following the HSC ill be publishing my guide to success in hsc english on this bored. Specific texts will be the ones i have studied and maybe a few others including Tempest.. other Shakespearean plays etc.

I'll see what I can do re. the different text types. I swear I've written a guide to feature articles at least a million times on this forum mainly because it comes up a lot in the hsc (other than essays) and it's one of the more complicated text types at first glance.

Was there anything in particular you wanted or just whatever I can think of?
