I wanna do creative writing but should i also be practicing discursive and persuasive just in case?

Yes because what are you gonna do if they ask for one of those in particular haha

definitely practice those. you might get a stimulus which completely throws you off and forces you to write a discursive or persuasive- you might also find that these can be a lot easier to adapt to stimulus once you get the gist of things
