Does any 2nd (or later) year law students have any suggestions for 1st year law students on how to at least pass their law subjects?

1) Don't skip any classes.

2) Do as much of your readings as you can - especially for Contracts and Public Law. Prioritise them over Foundations (because the Foundations readings aren't examined).

3) Do at least one practice exam during the semester and have your tutor mark it. Find out where you need to improve, etc.

does foundations cover any legal history?...coz i did thaT in both prelim and hsc and it bored me to death!

i would say yes....i think its about federation, federal law, common law, origin of aus laws, etc.
