hey guys, anyone here heard of skimboarding? i dont mean just skimming on the flat sand but if u do that post here aswell.. but has anyone seen or done skimboarding on the waves? me and my mates are all heaps into it now after summer and just wanting to see if its popular in other areas...

do u mean using skim boards to surf? Thatd be pretty hard if u werent being towed, don't u sink it too much?? My mates and i skim and skurf off boats and thats fine but i couldnt imagine paddling in on a skimboard, be mad if it worked tho

nah... well we do paddle out the back for a muck around everynow and again but im refering to when u run down into the thin water on the shore and skim out to the shories and like do mad turns and stuff on it or airs
