Arab Israeli Conflict and Historiography (1 Viewer)

Oh Great, do we really need historiography for this section. I am having enough trouble getting it for The Soviet Union... This is going to drive me up the wall. Does anyone want to give me a few starting pointers. It might help me a bit (god knows i need it...)

well just remember (my teacher has reminded us of this countless times) historiography is NOT just a historian's viewpoint

when a teacher says "use historiography!" they mean ANYTHING- you could use a quote from a relevant speech, e.g politician - you could quote a propaganda source- etc. i find it hard to believe that whatever textbook yr using doesn't at least have a few sources scattered around in there!!

could always make it up, make up some name and make up the evidence in the qoute supporting ur statement

Oh thats really going to help me realise what im actually meant to be doing. Besides, aren't there specific historians that are really good to talk about or something like that???

Okay, so sources are a good place to start! Any ideas about how you can lift that mark!!! (ie: who is a really good HISTORIAN to use)
