When using the assess keyword (specifically, in terms of the following syllabus outcome), do we need to state whether or not it is more positively impacting or more negatively impacting, or should we simply outline that it is a relatively significant/insignificant impact on society.
"The invention of transistors has influenced all aspects of society and thus it was very significant"
Or something like this?
"The benefits associated with the invention of the transistor outweigh the issues they pose on society, provided effective management of both physical and mental activity."
That is, should the assessment be more along the lines of this:Identify data sources, gather, process, analyse information and use available evidence to assess the impact of the invention of transistors on society with particular reference to their use in microchips and microprocessors

Or something like this?
