Hey guys, I was just wondering if you could please give my friend an ATAR Estimate:

School Rank: 25-30

Subject Ranks:

English Advanced – 3/138
Mathematics Extension 1 – 2/102
Mathematics Extension 2 – 2/60
Economics – 1/38

Chemistry 2011 HSC Accelerated mark: 96

It's hard to judge this, probably very high 99s. Possibly around 99.85-99.90 and a very good chance at 99.95.

What do I need to do to attain a 99.90+ ATAR? State Rank? Improve English? what can I do?

LOL, I thought it was Girraween since Kamal was accelerated in Chemistry there and you said your school rank was 25-30. Just because your duxes in the past haven't been over 99.8, doesn't mean that your friend can't get over 99.8.

What do I need to do to attain a 99.90+ ATAR? State Rank? Improve English? what can I do?

Get the #1 in all your subjects.

Hey, im from girra class of 2011 and im pretty sure these ranks were better than our dux manroops..who got 99.8.

but i cannot stress enough how important your grades effort and ability is. If you believe you've got some real guns in the top 10 of all those subjects then shes gotta a good chance of getting the .85/.9 or even.95 by looking at that chem mark.

Wow great ranks there! I would say anywhere from 99.75 to 99.95. Don't be complacent, continue putting in the hard work throughout the year and you'll be getting an amazing ATAR! Keep it up
