I enjoy watching the YouTube videos of the high schools and their graduations in which the school reserves a booking at a sports stadium...gowns and all...and the throwing of the caps into the air.

I just feel that we miss all that stuff. It's a "fun" way of Graduating from High school, you reckon?

This year my graduation is at a Church. Blah blah blah. And then we leave the building. There really is no excitement. :(

Get over it, it's graduation, be happy that you made it.

And I honestly thought that the throwing of the caps into the air etc was just in movies?

btw, We had to wear a Graduation Gown for ours, was held in a large hall outside of the school, and everyone was cheering etc... followed by refreshments :D

My graduation was in the school hall, and we got a guard of honour to walk through - made by the entire school. Quite cool actually considering I got to see my 'buddy' class, and then some of my old primary school teachers and then I'd progress to secondary and see some of the people in Year 7 and that who were on friendly terms with me - always interspersed with teachers and well wishers.

Great fun, and an awesome way to finish. After that, we all went to the Library and took some last minute photos before we all left.

I, sensing a source of fun, brought along a tissue box and I carried that with me. =)
